An irritated retired spook from the Lone Star State. For years I have had ideas floating around inside my mind and my heart but I believed in the lies of Satan and I never did manage to get a book published. This time, it is different. I was praying a while ago and God told me to either write the book and publish or else. I chose to publish it. May God bless us all. Below is an excerpt from the book. "As I have contemplated my life, such as it is, I have determined that my Lord and my Savior Jesus Christ has always been with me. Jesus Christ has been with me from before I was ever born up until at this ripe age of 58 years old. Jesus Christ has been with me throughout the times that I was following Him and those times of which I was not. I have always heard that “still small voice” as the Scriptures so detail and I have always listened...perhaps not right away...but I have heard Him and I have obeyed the commands that He gave me...eventually. This book is one of those times that I have finally heard that still small voice because this has been on my heart for a seeming eternity. I listened to the lies of Satan for years seeing that perhaps I wasn’t good enough to write a book about the aspects of God or perhaps no one out there really cares about the Armour of God. Well, that doesn’t matter anymore because if I am the only one that listens, than the book is a blessing and I will never forget the faith and the trust that God Himself has given me. I deeply appreciate the friends that have given me the inspiration to write this book on the Armour of God and I hope that this book will entreasure upon their hearts how gracious our God is and will always be. I pray that God will touch my family as it has fallen to the lies of Satan in all aspects of life and I pray that God will forgive me as I am responsible for what took place in our home. When we all finally reach into the graces of Heaven, all will be forgiven and all will be forgotten. Amen and Amen. I pray that this book will enrichen your hearts and your minds as we discuss the Armour of God." And now, the book: "The above Scriptures are a mere spattering of Scriptures given to us explaining to us that it is God’s Strength and God’s Power which sustains us all. We are not to bowl over; cowl under the fiery darts of the devil, ever. There is never an explanation whereas we must be nice to the enemy and that enemy is Satan itself. In the remaining verses of Ephesians 6:10-20, we will be talking about and researching those powers of which we are in battle. If you are a Christian, you are already in this battle and there are no fence- sittings listed in the Scriptures at all. You cannot win a battle while sitting on a fence...ever and always. Please pray as we talk about the Armour of God; when we must put it upon ourselves and when we should take it off. I will be citing and quoting many Scripture verses but, in order to understand what these Scripture verses mean, the entire chapter before and the chapter after the verses cited must be read as well for context. A Scripture text taken out of context is a pre-text and so many people do this in our churches today and I call these people “educated beyond their intelligence”. The first verse of the Armour of God above tells us that we must be strong in the Lord and we can only be strong in the Lord when we utilize God’s Power that he lovingly grants to those that seek God’s face. And, we must rely on the power of His might. When Jesus delivered a child of the demons that possessed him, many people marveled at the power of God but Jesus knew that one day, He Himself would be delivered up to these same people for His crucifixion."
